Free WiFi was a great distraction while sitting on the uncomfortable seating area. The oven and stovetop were also offered, even though I didn't dare to cook anything. The complimentary WiFi throughout the property was a lifesaver for scrolling through Instagram.
Oh, what a shame! I didn't like how I couldn't escape this terribly charming place.

The apartment had a cozy living room with a comfortable sofa where I could relax after a long day of exploring Florence. The well-equipped kitchen with a dining area allowed me to prepare my own meals and enjoy them in a comfortable setting. The private bathroom with free toiletries made my stay even more convenient and hassle-free. The air-conditioning in all units was a great relief during the hot summer days in Florence. The soundproofing in the apartment ensured a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, enhancing my overall relaxation. Having a washing machine in the apartment was a bonus for a business traveler like me. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment in the evenings. The presence of an electric kettle was a convenient addition to make my own tea or coffee.
The bidet in the private bathroom was not something I was used to, but others may find it enjoyable.

We got great value for our money at this charming apartment in the heart of the historical center. The room was clean, cosy and had all the necessary facilities we needed. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the famous Duomo and surrounded by bars, cafes, and shops. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay.
The breakfast menu could have been improved by providing a bath mat in the bathroom to prevent it from getting wet.

We had never booked an apartment as a holiday base before we chose Gessi Charming. the apartment exceeded our expectations - it was bright, modern, and cool. the location was fantastic, with easy access to all the tourist attractions and interesting streets to explore. the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, with an endless supply of hot water. We also appreciated the nearby supermarket and the delicious pastries at La Loggia degli Albizi. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.

Great location, close to the city center and with a supermarket nearby. The owner was very responsive and had good communication. The apartment was warm and had all the necessary facilities, including two TVs and an oven.
The pillows were uncomfortable, and the coffee machine was broken and leaking. There was also a lack of kitchen equipment, with only one wine glass and two small glasses provided, and no cutting board.
